Welcome to the Collection!
At the Oulu University of Applied Siences (Oamk), you can find around 300 photographs and comic strips from various artists in Northern Finland. The artworks are to be seen in the corridors of the Oamk Kotkantie campus and not so easily reached by an audience. Through the Collection website, the artworks can be more widely reached by the public. On the Collection website, you can find digitalised versions of the artworks, information about the artists, interviews of the artists made by the students and student projects inspired by the collection.
This website has been created by international students studying at Oamk in the spring term 2017.
Tervetuloa the Collection – Kokoelman pariin!
Oulun ammattikorkeakoululla (Oamk) on noin 300 pohjoissuomalaisen valokuva- ja sarjakuvateoksen kokoelma. Teokset ovat esillä Oamkin Kotkantien kampuksen käytävillä ja näin ollen muun yleisön vaikeasti tavoitettavissa. The Collection – Kokoelma –verkkosivuston kautta teokset tuodaan laajemman yleisön saavutettavaksi. Verkkosivustolla on digitoidun kokoelman lisäksi tietoa taiteilijoista, opiskelijoiden tekemiä taiteilijahaastatteluja sekä kokoelmasta alkunsa saamia taideprojekteja.
Sivuston ovat koonneet Oulun ammattikorkeakoulun ulkomaiset vaihto-opiskelijat kevään 2017 aikana.
